Silver Clay
I have to post a bit about Silver Clay! What a fantastic medium! So much fun to work with and make silver jewellery. I will post some photos soon of my new work! Come on out to The Bead Store to see some samples! The March class is full, but registration has started for the April and May classes.

Silver clay classes
Jeannette, I'm so glad you have decided to provide classes in this exciting medium. I heard about PMC years ago in beading magazines but it was only in the USA that one could learn how to make wonderful items with it.
I can't wait till March to try creating with siver Clay, in the meantime I'm practicing with pottery clay .

Re: Silver Clay
Oh I can't wait for the Silver Clay class!
I took my first course in PMC Silver Clay in Florida about 5 years ago. I was hooked immediately! I am very excited about the visit next week of the CEO of Art Clay! I still can't believe that she is coming for a whole week to train me! But like you said training and classes are not readily available in Canada....something she has noticed too.
Jackie will be visiting our store on Saturday February 16th...I can't wait for you to meet her!

Re: Silver Clay
Yes I think it would work! You could roll out some clay and then put a bail on the the back. I could not believe how strong the pieces were that I made! Jackie really made me work on them hard...filing, and sanding....so silver clay should be strong enough to make buttons.
