I really don't get how this stuff works but hope to find out on Saturday with Jeannette (sp?) and your mentor, teacher.

I had a couple come into the store today. she was interested in beads but he was into forging metals. during our conversations I chatted with him about silver clay and it's potential .He had never heard of it but was absolutely facinated by it. They had their 3 year old with them so they didnt stay as long as he would have liked. He came back two hours later, alone, and bought some silver clay . He just couldn't wait for the class in April to see what he can do with it .So now he's going to go home and play and see what can be done with it without any training. He spent the two hour interval doing research on the web about Art Clay and PMC so he'd know where to start. I think he'll be back to sign up for the April class.
Another keener? and a male perspective on this great material.

Awesome news Deb...I met another man today who was very keen on the medium! I think we are going to have a great group of artists working with this material! Once a few introductory classes are held, I will start having a special "skill up" class once a month to teach more advanced techniques. I was also thinking of having an open studio time, where we could work on our own projects.
